Editorial policy
How we research, rank, and fact-check DDoS protection tools.
Ranking methodology
Rankings on this site are based on four weighted factors:
- Network capacity: published scrubbing or network capacity in terabits per second (Tbps), sourced from vendor documentation or public filings.
- Uptime SLA: whether a vendor publishes a specific uptime percentage or mitigation-time commitment, and at which plan tier.
- Deployment model fit: whether a tool is cloud-native, on-premise, or hybrid, and how that matches common buyer infrastructure.
- Vertical fit: whether a tool has features (such as Bring Your Own IP support) relevant to specific industries like iGaming and FinTech.
Sourcing standard
Every statistic on this site cites a named source and a publication year. Approved sources include vendor primary documentation, public financial filings, named industry reports with a stated methodology, and official regulatory text such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We do not publish unattributed statistics, invented benchmarks, or figures copied from a competing publication without independent verification.
Update policy
Vendor capacity figures, pricing, and SLA terms change frequently. Pages describing these details carry a "last updated" date and are reviewed periodically against current vendor documentation.
Commercial relationship disclosure
This site links to a third-party specialist offering expert-managed configuration for Cloudflare and Gcore Enterprise deployments. We may receive a benefit when a reader engages that specialist through a link on this site. Ranking positions are determined by the methodology above, not by this commercial relationship.
